Antique Heart Pine: From Reclaimed Longleaf Yellow Pine

 1.  Flooring:  4/4 & 5/4 x 2.25” through 12” widths – CMT&G

a.      Select Grade - 2.25”- 12”

b.      #1 & Better - 2.25” – 12”

2.  Millwork Material and Paneling:  special milled material in all grades for millwork, doors, paneling, furniture and stair parts.  

 3.   Beams and timbers       

a.      Available in #1 Structural Grade, #2 Grade and Old Pine

b.      Natural and wire brushed solid beams for interior and exterior applications, both structural and decorative

c.      Re-sawn with fresh faces for more formal applications

d.      Beam faces for boxed beams

e.      Mantle beams, lentils and headers

Cypress lumber and beams

Ceiling and floor decking, decks and rails, arbors and trellis, decorative brackets, posts & beams, and exterior trusses.  Other common and beautiful applications include beveled and lap siding, wane edge siding and vertical board & batten.  Cypress lumber is kiln dried and can be run to pattern.  Most cypress beams and timber are sold green (air-dried not kiln dried).

 Grades:  Select, #2 common, pecky, river recovered (sinker or dead head)

Widths:  Board widths range from 2.5” and up; it is not uncommon to find width up to 16”- 20”

 New Heart Pine Flooring and Beams

Source:  12,000 acres of private plantation land in southwest Georgia.  Source trees are virgin and old growth longleaf yellow pine.  This operation is tightly controlled and self regulated to preserve the quality of the product and the sustainability of the forest.

Flooring:  4/4 x 2.25” – 7.25”, Select, #1 & Better, #2 Grade

a.      80 - 100% heart content

b.      50 - 80% heart content

c.      Less than 50% heart content

d.      Longleaf yellow pine flooring – no heart content

 Beams:  Re-sawn from longleaf trees up to 30’ – Green

 Reclaimed and New Hardwoods -  Beams and flooring material

 Hickory, red and white oak, walnut, and chestnut as available in character grades
